The Centerstone Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services Leadership Team has over 100 years of combined experience in service to families and children. Many members of our team have been with Centerstone for 10 years or longer and have worked as direct care providers to children. Gino DeSalvatore – Director of Residential and Academy Services

Gino is responsible for the overall operation of all child and youth residential treatment services as well as academic services for the Specialty Services division of Centerstone. He serves on several statewide committees which seek to improve adolescent residential treatment services in the State of Tennessee. DeSalvatore graduated from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, with a BS in Physical Education; from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with an MS in Therapeutic Recreation; and has completed post-graduate studies at Harvard University in Boston, Mass. DeSalvatore has been a part of the Centerstone system since 1992.
Tim Sewell – Clinical Services Manager

Tim is responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision for the clinical staff and clinical supervision for the case management teams. Mr. Sewell is a member of the American Counseling Association and National Board of Certified Counselors. He has national certification as Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and is licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Management and Human Relations at Trevecca University. Tim also holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Trevecca University. He has been in the Centerstone system since 1991.
Ronnie J. Russell – Program Manager Residential Treatment Services

Ronnie serves as Program Manager for Residential Treatment Services in Davidson County. Ronnie is responsible for the day to day operation of our Hart Lane Group Home. Hart Lane serve adolescent boys ranging from 12-18 years old and their families. Mr. Russell also monitors sub-contracted residential homes in Franklin and LaVergne. Russell serves on several committees in Nashville and the surrounding area. Russell is a graduate of East High School in Nashville, Tenn. He received his BA and Masters degree in Theology from Emmanuel Theological Seminary in Rossville, Ga. Mr. Russell has been a part of the Centerstone system since 1990.
Carla Millspaugh – Program Manager – Mid-Cumberland Region

Carla serves as the Program Manager for The Lodge Residential Group Home, as well as the resource homes for the Mid-Cumberland Region, Centerstone Continuum. Carla graduated from Austin Peay State University with a BS in Criminal Justice and received her MA in Counseling from Argosy University. Carla played a key role in the development and integration of the animal assisted therapy program, and the EAGALA certified equine assisted therapy program within the Mid-Cumberland region.Carla is a published author, having co-authored several articles for Reclaiming Children and Youth. Carla has co-presented at numerous conferences throughout the country. Carla has been with Centerstone since 1984.

Jamie began with Centerstone in 1998 as an in home case manager at our Residential Treatment Facility and then transitioned to Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services. Jamie is currently the Program Manager of Research Outcomes and Analytics.Jamie has served as a case manager, program coordinator as Program Manager for Davidson County. He has been providing care for children for 15 years through various avenues and has have been working with Centerstone for 11 years. Jamie graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin in 1996.
Roddy Fernandez – Program Manager – South Central Region|

Roddy oversees the operations of foster homes and residential care for the youth in his region. He graduated from Martin Methodist College with a degree in Human Services. Roddy brings with him his experience from the Tennessee Department of Human Services. He has worked in adult case management, psychosocial rehabilitation and with the Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services program as an admissions coordinator and currently as the program manager for South Central. Roddy joined the Centerstone family in 1998.
Barbara Pennington – Adoptions Coordinator

Barbara is responsible for the adoption tasks as they relate to the children in our foster care program. She worked as an adoption case manager and permanency specialist with DCS at the Center for Adoption for several years prior to coming to Centerstone in 2007. She has a BS in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Julie serves as a Foster Care Coordinator for Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services. Julie oversees our electronic medical record, writes online training for staff and Foster Families, handles reimbursement for foster families and works on various special projects. She has served the agency in many capacities including residential counselor, continuum case manager, Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services therapist and Mid-Cumberland Foster Care recruiter / trainer. Julie graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Psychology and Family Studies and obtained her Masters Degree in counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. She has been a part of the Centerstone system since 1995.
Cleo Griggs – Program Manager – Southwest Region

Cleo is responsible for overseeing the operations of foster homes and residential care for the youth in the Jackson, Tenn. area. Griggs has served in many capacities during her tenure at Centerstone including residential coordinator, case manager, and Foster Care Coordinator. Griggs attended Nashville State Community College, Jackson State Community College and University of Memphis, majoring in Psychology. She has been with Centerstone since 1994.
Kaye Westbrook – Foster Care Coordinator – Mid Cumberland Region

Kaye recruits, trains and manages homes in the Mid-Cumberland Region. She currently manages our largest network of homes. Kaye has a degree in Psychology and a MS in Health and Human Performance. She has been with Centerstone since 2005.

Stacey has been employed with Centerstone Family Centered Services as a case manger since 2007. She was recently promoted to Foster Care Coordinator in February of 2011. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Carol Cox – Program Manager – Tennessee Valley Region

Carol is responsible for the overall operations of foster care and residential placements in the area.While new to the Centerstone system, she has been working in the field for over 12 years running foster care and group homes. Carol holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. She is an active member of the Tennessee Alliance for Children and Families and the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth. She is a Licensed Psychological Examiner. Carol has been a part of the Centerstone system since 2010.

Monica serves as Program Coordinator for Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services for the Southeast Region. Monica is responsible for Foster Care placements and Case Management services for the area. Monica has been providing care for Children for 13 years; she is a two time graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS degree in Juvenile Justice and a MS degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Correctional psychology. Monica has been with Centerstone in 2010.
Michelle Snow- Foster Care Coordinator – Tennessee Valley Region

Michelle recruits, trains and manages foster homes in the Tennessee Valley Region. Michelle (and her husband) became foster parents in 1997 and are now parents to their two children, who were adopted through the foster care system. Before joining Centerstone, Michelle was a trainer with the Tennessee Center for Child Welfare and is a Master PATH trainer and has been working with foster parents since 2005. She is a 1991graduate of Southern College of Seventh day Adventists with a Bachelors of Social Work degree. She is beginning her Masters of Social Work at Southern Adventist University the Fall of 2010. Michelle has been with Centerstone since 2009.
James “Red” McCormick – Program Coordinator – Upper Cumberland Region

Red serves as Program Coordinator for Child and Youth Residential Treatment Services for the Upper Cumberland Region. Red is responsible for Contract Care placements and Case Management services for the area. McCormick has been providing care for children for over 22 years through various avenues and serves on the regional board of Tennessee Alliance for Children and Families. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Juvenile Justice, from the University of Tennessee at Martin with an MS in Educational Administration and Supervision, and will start doctoral studies at Covington Theological Seminary, fall 2010. McCormick has been a part of the Centerstone system since 2009.
Becky Garland – Residential Services Coordinator

Becky is responsible for the overall daily management of Lodge Girl’s Home in Clarksville. She also provides guidance and training to the residential staff. Becky is also case manager to the residents, partnering with DCS, and coordinating school, court, and family meetings,. Her passion for the Circle of Courage is evidenced by its creative integration into the Lodge milieu. Becky played a key role in the development and integration of the animal-assisted therapy program, and the EAGALA certified equine-assisted therapy program within the Mid-Cumberland Region. Becky is an EAGALA certified Equine Specialist. Becky graduated from Austin Peay State University with a B.A. in English and received a MAEd in Program Development and Curriculum from the University of Phoenix. Becky has been with Centerstone since 2005.
